Installation

Installation Process

One of two choices can be made on the installation. You may wish to use your own handyman skills and opt to do this yourself at a substantial savings or we can suggest a qualified carpenter at a separate additional charge. This choice of course would be entirely up to you.

1. Most stained glass windows & door panels are delivered to the site on a wooden board. The installer will removed the inside trim (quarter round) in preparation for installation.

2. The installer will then apply a bead of clear silicon to the area where the stained glass panel will be placed. The stained glass panel is lifted into place by the outside zinc border.

3. The inside trim is then replaced by nailing into place.

4. The nails are then counter-sunk to make for a finished look.
